I still think that bringing in Ringers (Drivers for Road Races only) is bullshit. Especially when you bring in cars specifically for them that don't run in normal every week Nascar (Such as jack off Gannassi did for Pruett). All it does is hinder the points battle for the other drivers.

What cars do you think the regular nascar guys race at road course events? A stock Monte Carlo??? Fuck no! They all have cars setup strictly for those races. The fact is that Nascar drivers are not as skilled as drivers from other series. Hear Jeff Gordon's quotes about possibly going to F1 someday? He said he would never do it because the level of competition is so high that he wouldnt want to have to try to adjust to it. THAT's why these real racers come in and kick NASCAR ass...it's because they actually have talent.
Boris Said was a World Suberbike racer for Ducati a few years ago...he decides to try car racing and has been sucessful in many different series. Do you think and of the Nascar boys could do that?
Dont get me wrong...a few of them can drive....Robby Gordon can go fast in anything with a motor. He has gobs of talent. Stewart is alright...Johnson is pretty skilled too.

Nascar is determined by how good the crew can get the car set-up. The driver plays a role of about 20% in determing who wins/loses in Nascar.
Most American rednecks dont care about any of the other racing organizations in the world and assume that Nascar drivers are the best...well let me tell ya...they arent even close.
